Tabcorp stops Situs Judi Slot Online Terpercaya casino high roller incentives

MELBOURNE, June 28 (Reuters) – Australian gaming, wagering and casino group Tabcorp Holdings Ltd said on Thursday its Star City casino in Sydney decided to stop its highroller incentives programme.

International gambling at Star City fell well below its theoretical win rate in the first half of 2000/01 which helped take Tabcorp’s earnings for the six months to the end of 2000 below its usual double-digit growth rate.

“We have been reviewing the highroller programme for some time and … due to the extremely competitive nature of this business and the high level of discounts being offered by other casinos, it is not in the best interests of our company to continue at this time,” said chief executive Ross Wilson.

He said in a statement the decision to suspend the highroller incentives would reduce Tabcorp’s profit volatility but would not have a material impact on profit levels.

Tabcorp shares rose 15 cents to A$9.45, outpacing gains in the broader market, but the announcement came out after the market closed.

The company also said it would extend its casino services agreement with Harrah’s Entertainment Inc for a further two years until January 10, 2005.

Tabcorp said the fees paid by Star City to Harrah’s would fall to A$5.3 million a year from A$10 million a year for the duration of the extended term
